Develops client-facing web-based applications using server-side/mid-tier languages, frameworks, and librariesJava EE, Apache Tomcat, Spring MVC/Spring Boot, Logback, SLF4j, and Maven. Builds framework for complex databases using Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node, NPM, HTML/CSS, and RxJS. Identifies and communicates systems development processes. Develops work associated with the respective phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Provides business solutions by developing complex or multiple software applications.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going development efforts. Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in multiple platforms. Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives. Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to implementation. Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing. Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting several corporate initiatives. Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems. Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope. Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a project. Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) developing client-facing web-based applications using server-side/mid-tier languages, frameworks, and libraries.
Or, alternatively, Master's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) developing client-facing web-based applications using server-side/mid-tier languages, frameworks, and libraries.

Demonstrated Expertise ("DE") developing client-facing Web-based applications using server-side/mid-tier languages, frameworks, and librariesJava EE, Spring MVC/Spring Boot, Apache Tomcat, and Maven; developing hybrid AngularJS/Angular 8 applications to facilitate migration from Angular JS to Angular 8; and developing new features using TypeScript while supporting old architecture using JavaScript and implementing lazy loading and state management using RXJs in a hybrid context. DE developing server side enterprise financial services applications and RESTful microservices in distributed environments, using J2EE, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Node JS, and ORM frameworksHibernate and JDBC; and developing Web services (producers and consumers), using SOAP/REST protocols, Swagger API, and Tomcat servers. DE developing responsive Single Page Applications (SPAs) and Multi Page Applications, using AngularJS, Angular2+ or Hybrid, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Typescript; developing rich browser compatible User Interfaces (UI) applications using third party libraries; and writing unit and integration tests using Junit, Karma, and Jasmine. DE creating and managing environment specific pipelines using Concourse and Jenkins; managing build and release processes; creating and managing hotfix pipelines; using Logback, SLF4j for enriched logging for production support and monitoring using Splunk; creating tables, joins, views, queries, and procedures using SQL in Oracle DB; and managing environment specific databases and schemas.
