The Senior Structural Engineer coordinates closely with the Piping, Mechanical and Electrical groups. Design of foundations and steel framing to support equipment and utilities. Work will also include the design of foundations and superstructures for platforms, walkways, and other elevated structures. The Senior Structural Engineer reports to the Structural Discipline Manager. Completed technical work is reviewed by senior management before being presented to the client.

Qualifications Five or more years of experience in an engineering role
Working knowledge of AISC, ACI and ASCE7 design codes
An interest and aptitude in the design of steel and concrete structures
Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs
Proficient in AutoCAD
Proficient in the use of structural analysis modelling software
Understanding of Advance Steel and Revit programs is a plus
Ability to plan and execute work with limited direction
Excellent communication and writing skills
Establish and maintain good client relations
Attention to detail, highly organized and performance of self-checking of work
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a focus on concrete, steel and foundation design coursework, advanced degree a plus
P.E. certification required
