This role demands a seasoned professional with an active CPA license, a Bachelor's degree in accounting, and over 15 years of experience in global accounting and SEC reporting, preferably within a public company and a high-growth international SaaS environment. Technical proficiency in US GAAP and IFRS, particularly in areas such as revenue recognition, business combinations, and stock-based compensation, is essential. The role also requires a leader with a proven track record in talent development, team leadership, and a collaborative approach to cross-functional partnerships.
The ideal candidate for this position at the company will be a strategic leader with a strong background in financial and accounting management. They will be expected to oversee all aspects of the accounting and treasury functions, including financial statement preparation, external financial reporting, and the maintenance of a robust control environment. Additionally, the role involves managing the company's tax function, ensuring compliance with both direct and indirect tax requirements, and designing and implementing international tax strategies. The SVP, Accounting and Treasurer will also be a key participant in the company's Risk Committee, focusing on identifying and mitigating financial and accounting risks.
