The SVP FP&A will be responsible for developing and leading a high-performing team, as well as driving a cohesive approach to FP&A and Operational Finance. This role demands a seasoned leader with a hands-on approach, capable of not only identifying financial variances but also isolating performance drivers and recommending actions. The successful candidate will be a change agent, adept at implementing new technologies and processes, and will have a strong background in retail, with experience in private equity and a preference for those with IPO experience.
The ideal candidate for the SVP FP&A position at the company will have at least 15 years' experience in business operations, with a minimum of 10 years in FP&A, and a proven track record of managing financial functions and driving continuous improvement. They must be a highly motivated, ethical, and professional individual with a strong background in financial accounting, modeling, and analysis. The role requires a leader with a strategic mindset, the ability to work collaboratively with executive teams, and a talent for building and maintaining relationships across the organization. A Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in finance, with an MBA being a plus, and the candidate should be adept at financial modeling, with advanced Excel skills and experience in ERP and FP&A systems. The SVP FP&A will be expected to be a champion for business intelligence, leveraging data to provide meaningful insights and support data-based decision-making.
