The successful candidate will be at the forefront of the company's security transformation, with a focus on strengthening cyber defenses, enhancing ransomware resiliency, and securing all aspects of the company's digital assets and infrastructure. This critical role involves strategic leadership in the development and implementation of a comprehensive cyber defense strategy, as well as the management of a large, globally dispersed team of cyber practitioners. The SVP will also be responsible for threat intelligence, risk management, incident response, and security operations, and will be expected to collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure the company's security posture is robust and aligned with industry best practices.
Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years' experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within an enterprise cyber security program. A proven track record in developing and implementing successful cyber defense strategies at a global scale is essential, as is deep expertise in cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and regulations. The role requires a leader with solid communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with executives, board members, and other stakeholders as the primary spokesperson for cyber defense initiatives. Experience in the healthcare and/or financial services industry, as well as industry-specific certifications, is a plus. The ideal candidate will be a results-oriented, data-driven decision-maker, with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and the highest ethical standards.
