The successful candidate will be responsible for executive compensation and benefits, serving as the leading counsel on employment issues, and ensuring compliance with a variety of legal and regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include supporting executive compensation governance, participating in Compensation Committee meetings, managing insider transaction reports, and providing legal support for various employee benefit plans. The role also involves offering timely legal support throughout the employee lifecycle, from new hires to departures, and includes the review and negotiation of a variety of legal agreements.
Applicants for this role at the company should hold a Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and have extensive experience in executive compensation, benefits, and employment law, preferably from a combination of a nationally recognized law firm and in-house legal department. A comprehensive understanding of ERISA, tax laws impacting executive compensation, and federal securities laws related to executive compensation is essential.
