Candidates for this role should be passionate about the insurance industry and possess an undergraduate degree in a related field, with a graduate degree preferred. A CPCU designation is strongly preferred, and a minimum of 20 years' of experience in business underwriting, regulatory, analytics, and profitability management is required. The role calls for an individual with expert knowledge of P&C insurance underwriting, particularly in personal lines automobile and property, and a proven track record of leading large, complex initiatives. Strategic agility, executive presence, and strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. The SVP will also be responsible for executive and associate management, fostering a performance-driven culture, and must demonstrate the company's values on a regular and consistent basis.
