Candidate will report to the department manager/supervisor. Must be able to work a 12 hour rotating shift including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Perform monthly rapier maintenance. (WI802-1)
2. Fix flags. (WI802-2)
3. Investigate cause of damaged reed. (WI802-3)
4. Make Barco declarations. (WI802-4)
5. Document and communicate status of job at shift change. (WI802-5)
6. Approve start-up of warp out. (WI802-6)
7. Daily oiling and visual inspection. (WI802-7)
8. Assist in repairing breakdowns. (WI802-9)
9. Assist in weaving. (WI802-10)
10. Perform mechanical loom maintenance. (WI802-11)
11. Clock pick variance procedure. (WI802-12)
12. Installation of metal spreader bar. (WI802-14)
13. Installation of plastic threaded rod in bar temple. (WI802-15)
14. Cut new plastic threaded for bar temple. (WI802-16)
15. Install tension sensors. (WI802-17)
16. Book maintenances. (WI802-20)
17. Attend maintenance meetings. (WI802-21)
18. Fill out Creases/Floppy Selvage Checklist. (WI802-27)
19. Fill out Tight Picks/Kinky Filling Checklist. (WI802-28)
20. Role as 1st Responder.
