Overview Join our team and continue your security career as a Shift Supervisor. In this role you'll support DoD facilities and oversee an assigned guard force.
This position is contingent upon award and not currently funded.
Responsibilities What You'll Get To Do:
Manage and supervise employees on assigned shift and ensure access control, visitor support, and alarm response and dispatch operations are being executed. Work in collaboration with the Site Supervisor and other Supervisors to ensure all contract obligations are met. Attend all Drill Pre-briefs and Post hot washes. Supervise Security Control Center operations to include Access Control/Response/Circulation Enforcement, Badge Administration, and Common Access Card Administration. Ensure all security personnel are professionally trained and capable of conducting primary duties. Provide first response & assessment of emergency situations. Conduct security inspections, respond to alarms, incidents, emergencies, and aid as required . Other duties as assigned. Qualifications You'll Bring These Qualifications:
Active DoD Secret clearance.Experience in security or law enforcement operations in the Armed Forces/military police or civilian security operations including some supervisory/leader experience. Three (3) years management experience preferably with a civilian police force, military police force, or civilian security guard organization. State security guard card for armed and unarmed officers.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Familiarity with various computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook Options Apply for this job onlineApply
