Job Description Shipping/Receiving Clerk
Intertek is searching for a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to join our Electricalteam in our Lake Forest, CA office. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow a versatile career in the testing/inspection/certification industry!
The Shipping/Receiving Clerk is responsible for performing various shipping/receiving functions for an assigned facility. This position works under general supervision.
Salary & Benefits Information
The salary range for this position is $20/hr - $25/hr. Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.

What you'll do: Unpacks, identifies, logs and marks client's samples and packages using standard procedures After test completion, performs disposition tasks according to customer requirements, which may include shipping back or disposal of samples and the completion of associated paperwork Keeps an updated shipping log Performs clerical duties in accordance with standard procedures May assist with other administrative tasks when needed May provide temporary phone support Maintains a clean, organized and safe work environment Performs other work as required What it takes to be successful in this role: High school diploma or GED Prior shipping/receiving experience Knowledge of UPS, Fed-Ex, DHL, etc. shipping systems Must be quality conscious and customer focused International shipping experience preferred Microsoft office proficiency Must be organized and detail oriented Must be a team player Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities Ability to operate a powered hand truck and fork truck Ability to lift up to 49 pounds This position outline is a general guideline and does not represent all encompassing details.
