Shipping & Receiving / Parts Puller

Job Summary:
Ed Rinke Chevrolet Buick GMC is seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Shipping & Receiving / Parts Puller. This is a full-time, hourly position in the Auto industry located in Center Line, Michigan. As a Shipping & Receiving / Parts Puller, you will be responsible for managing inventory and fulfilling customer orders in a timely and accurate manner.

Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $15 per hour, paid on a weekly basis. In addition, full-time employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments of automotive parts, ensuring accuracy and quality control
- Process paperwork and enter data into inventory management system
- Pull and pack orders for delivery or pickup, according to customer specifications
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of parts to service technicians and customers
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent stock shortages
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Communicate with vendors and handle any returns or exchanges as needed
- Assist Service Advisors with parts inquiries and recommendations

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred, ideally in the automotive industry
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
