Summary:
AG is a pioneer and leader in the premium denim industry and has grown to become a recognized contemporary lifestyle brand, encompassing a full spectrum of premium products. The Social Media & Community Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, managing, monitoring, and reporting on the brand's social media strategy to increase brand awareness and engagement, and support marketing and sales efforts. The position reports to the Director of Marketing & Creative and works closely with the Marketing, PR, Ecommerce, and Retail departments to ensure alignment of social strategy and overall business goals.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a social media marketing plan to increase brand's online presence and improve marketing and sales efforts.
Ideate, develop, and manage social media marketing campaigns and day-to-day posting activities.
Develop the brand voice and messaging across all social channels.
Create, edit, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written, and audio) using existing content as well as creating custom content for social channels.
Responsible for creation, maintenance, and successful execution of the social calendar as well as coordinating cross-departmentally to ensure alignment.
Partner with digital marketing team and agency to optimize and curate social ad campaigns leveraging historical analytics data to create engaging copy and imagery, and test multiple audience groups to maximize reach and ROI.
Identify content that aligns with segmented demographics and audiences for specific platforms such as IG, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and Twitter.
Own and manage the social budgets and spend, aligning to performance tracking.
Report KPI's including user engagement, audience growth, content performance, clicks, revenue, ROI and suggest content optimization.
Translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations to enhance performance of the social media strategy.
Collaborate with creative team to plan and schedule custom content needs for social.
Work with customer service team to ensure all customer feedback on social channels is handled accordingly and in the brand voice.
Monitor, listen and respond to users in a "social" way while cultivating a brand community.
Identify threats and opportunities in user-generated content surrounding the company.
Ensure social efforts support key Marketing/PR/Ecommerce/Retail objectives, launches, communications, branding, etc.
Ideate, coordinate, and execute on social activations and or events to support key business objectives.
Attend photo shoots, brand events, and relevant functions requiring social support and coverage.
Manage third party social tools including Dash Hudson and Canva, while staying informed of and presenting on new and additional tools in support of brand efforts.
Monitor trends in social media applications, channels, design, and strategy.
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, communications, journalism, or related field
3+ years experience in social media marketing role
Expert knowledge of social media platforms, landscape, and nuances
Ability to lead and develop a team in pursuit of a growth strategy
Working knowledge of SEO including keyword research and Google Analytics, creating UTM parameters, and principles of Search and Social.
Excellent visual design and asset curation skills
Extensive knowledge of fashion space and trends
Deep understanding of customer habits and how they shop and interact across social and the potential effect on retail and DTC sales
Outgoing and personable with an established network of influential contacts
Innovative mindset capable of devising new and fun ways of communicating with audiences
Incredibly organized and detail oriented with ability to be flexible and adaptable
Capable skills in researching, planning, project management, and reporting
Experience managing to meet target goals, including analyzing and optimizing various strategies for efficiency and growth
Proficient in photo video editing software such Adobe Suit and Canva, as well as Excel, Word, Keynote and other relevant programs
Experience in creative tools such as Asana, Slack, and Dash Hudson is a plus

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience in corporate office environment and overall workflow
