Responsibilities:
The position calls for organizational skills, classroom management, effective instructional practices, and a willingness to collaborate with other team members as well as the Social Studies team leader.
We believe that teachers are life-long learners, and therefore offer teachers on-going, collaborative professional development opportunities, in order to keep up to date with current best practices in education and have the greatest impact on their students.
In addition, communication is key in helping students reach their full potential and to this end, teachers at MDY are asked to have on-going communication with parents.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of middle school or elementary classroom teaching experience required
Bachelors Degree
