In order to strengthen our Operations Team in Puerto Rico, there is a vacancy in the position of:
Software and Quality Assurance Specialist
JOB SUMMARY:
The Software and Quality Assurance Specialist will work mainly in house to duplicate all software requirements for NOVOMATIC Gaming Product and Technical Service Orders. In addition - the Software and Quality Assurance Specialist will perform all Quality Checks associated with outbound shipments and deliveries (software, gaming devices and parts) fro both markets VGT and Casinos. This will be hands on position and will interact with all areas of NOVOMATIC team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participates in all Production and Service related meetings.
Reviews all production and technical service related orders.
Determines all software requirements per production and technical service orders.
Reviews all internal and regulatory guidelines and approvals to ensure all software is approved and compliant for the jurisdiction.
Duplicates all software requirements in accordance to standard operating procedures and training.
Ensure that slot machines adhere to relevant gaming regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.
Keep an accurate inventory of all software items and order inventory as needed.
Create Software Trasnport Notice, Service Orders and RMAs.
Review all gaming device product orders to ensure Quality standards and accuracy to the customers configurations and specifications.
Conduct final inspections and testing of completed slot machines before they are shipped to customers.
Inspect and document functionality of slot machines returned by customers.
Maintain comprehensive records of quality inspections, test results, and corrective actions taken.
Establish inspection protocols and guidelines to ensure consistency and accuracy in quality checks.
Inspect and verify the quality of components and materials used in the production of slot machines.
Develops and maintains a professional image in representing NOVOMATIC Americas Sales in both personal interfaces and those communicated via the phone and/or email.
Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
Maintain accurate documentation of Software orders for audit purposes.
Perform other duties as assigned and or requested by management.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Electronic Certificate in the field of electronics is preferred; experience in the gaming industry or equivalent technical experience is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be proficient in all Microsoft applications and use of computer systems.
Quality concept knowledge and experience is a plus
Able to obtain and maintain gaming license in any jurisdiction as needed.
Critical Thinking and Detail Oriented
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and communicate to management.
Ability to lift 50lbs or more as needed.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to professionally interface and respond to questions from customers, sales personnel and others within the company as required.
