*** Our client is hiring a Solutions Architect to play a crucial role supporting the implementation of a new ERP.
Working closely with the IT department, it will focus on implementing various solutions, enhancing existing systems, and monitoring the impact of new or upgraded systems on business operations.
What you will do: Drives data strategies for the IT/OT organization, including data lakes, data warehouses, Databricks, Azure frameworks, and data retention.
Implements utility-specific requirements and designs into production through standard industry practices.
Communicates regularly with project leadership regarding project status, risks, decisions, and resource-related issues.
Approves design documents, ensures adherence to IT standards, and provides subject matter expertise on utility IT/OT applications.
Education: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related area Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 5-7 years of IT Experience in a similar role Experience with Java EE, Oracle SOA Suite 12.x (Orchestration, Mediation, BPEL), IBM MQ, Relational Databases, Azure DevOps, GitHub repositories, Azure Frameworks, Data Bricks, Delta Lakes.
Previous experience (ISM Band base Mesh Networks, Point to Multipoint licensed spectrum radio technologies, Private LTE) Utility application footprint and associated application landscape.
Project Management skills.
Experience with IT infrastructure (Virtual Servers, VMWare) and communications/connectivity infrastructure (VPN, APN, VLANs) is preferred.
