Spare Parts Inventory Technician
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role,Spare Parts Inventory Technician, are to:
Store and maintain items in their respective locations in a warehouse;
Ensuring accuracy on inventory management and data reporting discrepancies between physical counts and computer records;
Communicate restockneeds to Shop Maintenance Manager and purchasing coordinator;
Receive, stock and distribute materials and supplies;
Handle and execute loading and unloading operations;
Ensure warehouse room and premises complies with labeling and housekeeping standards following Bayer policies and regulatory guidelines in compliance with applicable local, state, or federal rules and regulations;
Drive a forklift, pickup truck or utility vehicle to move or store inventory or warehouse materials;
Ensure safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations organized and free of safety hazards;
Maintain an active inventory of parts, supplies and tools to complete needed repairs and meet availability expectations;
Demonstrate knowledge of and adherence to company's HSE Health, Safety and Environmental and Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) standards

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Willingness/ability to work overtime and weekends;
Must be reliable and responsible; and must have the ability to work independently with little direct supervision;
Strong computer proficiency in applications like SAP, Internet, and MS Office;
Preferred Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED plus 3 years experience in applicable area 1+ years of experience in inventory control;
Bilingual English/Spanish;
Forklift experience beneficial;
