Special Education Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with students who have special needs and creating a supportive learning environment.
## Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Utilize various teaching methods to engage students and enhance their learning experience
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other educators to support student progress
- Implement behavioral management strategies to address challenging behaviors
- Use learning technology to enhance educational outcomes
- Monitor and assess student progress through standardized testing and other evaluation tools
## Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field; Master's degree preferred
- State certification in Special Education teacher with M/M or M/S Credentials
- Experience in classroom management and behavior management techniques
- Knowledge of childhood development principles
- Familiarity with Montessori or other alternative teaching methodologies is a plus
- Training in behavioral therapy is advantageous
