Description
The key objective of the Program Manager is to be responsible for the overall management and execution of the student services segment of the sponsored student programs at Kings. The candidate will oversee addressing and resolving service issues related to students' academic performance, attendance, compliance, housing and overall program satisfaction.
The Sponsored Students Program Manager will be responsible for creating and disseminating general as well as individual student reports highlighting overall metrics and progress on the achievement of the objectives of the program.
As a Bilingual Arabic-speaking Sponsored Students Program Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that both our partners and colleagues can successfully and efficiently deliver on the mandates of the program and can adhere to the expectations of the sponsoring institution in the Middle East. You will provide day-to-day operations support to all stakeholders, as well as serve as a liaison between our partner institution contacts and key Kings staff members.

Establish and maintain strong, reliable connections with all current Gulf students at all US campuses Handle in-person general student inquiries and/or concerns while working as a point of contact for students Support students on-campus by advising on aspects such as cultural acclimatization and general academic issues Act as an advocate for positive student experiences, while continuously reinforcing the importance of student self-sufficiency. Work effectively with all Center Directors to ensure Gulf students are supported and that Kings is delivering on the objectives of the program Coordinate with university partners to ensure an appropriate level of consistency in service Build and enhance relationship with GCC sponsors and provide recruitment support in the region Assist in the initial setup and operational support at each university partner location Document all activity and incidents occurring during the delivery of the programs we offer to students Troubleshoot and promptly resolve student concerns or complaints to ensure student satisfaction. Document and escalate issues and complaints as outlined in escalation policy. Conduct all services in a culturally and linguistically appropriate manner according to agency and grantor/funder policies and procedures.
Requirements
Competency, Skills, Knowledge and Ability? Bilingual Arabic speaker with excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English Bachelor's Degree in a related field Minimum of 3 years of experience in program management or a related field. Cultural sensitivity, experience working with international populations preferred. Knowledge of Gulf region culture and experience is a plus Experience working in a higher education environment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Bright, dynamic and creative individual. Well-developed customer service skills. Tact, patience and diplomacy, particularly with non-native English speakers. Ability to exercise sound judgement in decision making practices, solving and creative thinking skills Detailed-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to multi-task and to work independently and as part of a team Professionalism in all communications with internal stakeholders Ability to travel domestically 50% of time and work occasionally during evenings and weekends. Salary Description
$75000 - $85000 per year
