Sql Programmer Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced
SQL Programmer Consultant
to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Create and maintain a variety of SQL queries, Stored Procedures, Triggers and SQL.
Generate extracts of specific formatted data sets as requested.
Assist in planning data or schema changes.
Ensure ongoing data quality with monitoring, sanity checks, and other QA tools.
Synchronize data between source, repository and warehouse/datamart instances.
Work with production backups for DR/recovery to support other environments.
Be a resource for others to optimize queries, answer questions, and troubleshoot database related concerns.
Take ownership of reported data problems, work to ensure resolution of source data as well as occurrences.
Propose creative and feasible alternatives when confronted with new problems.
Assist in off-hours production support coverage with other members of on-call teams as needed.

Requirements:
BS in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, Information Sciences or equivalent education.
Minimum 4 years paid experience in software development (must be with SQL database) or 2 years in a database programming or DBA/scripting position.
