Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an Sr. Cloud Engineer- Enterprise Messaging for a CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier Financial Services clients in San Fran, CA .
Responsibilities : Design, Develop and maintain integration services using IBM MQ. Experience with IBM MQ MFT Leads efforts to establish, define, maintain, and communicate integration architecture guidelines, principles, standards and best practices across multiple product teams as they migrate to the cloud. Provides end-to-end support for solution integration, including designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting solutions. Custom develops monitoring and alerting solutions. Participates in defect and incident root cause analyses. Provides production support including on-call rotation. Strong knowledge of high-availability, load-balancing and failover configurations across application, infrastructure, and platform components. Clear understanding of and experience with team development best practices to include peer reviews processes and version control systems. Build solutions in accordance with Bank security policies that mitigate risk and increase efficiencies. Judgement to escalate risk-based decisions appropriately. •Experience with Infrastructure as code using tools such as terraform, Gitlab pipelines. Required Skills: 5+ years of software development experience. 5+ years of recent and related experience as an MQ Architect/Integration Engineer from Design through the Implementation of technical solutions 1+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Gitlab, Packer, Ansible). Excellent communication (oral and written) and analytical skills; strong and demonstrated interpersonal skills to include influence, collaboration, accountability, and critical thinking.
