Summary: The Data Scientist will lead projects and collaborate with diverse business partners to develop analytical models and actionable insights for the PR Operations Organization.

The Data Scientist will oversee projects from initiation to execution, applying data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence capabilities to solve complex business problems.
Responsibilities: Lead advanced analytics projects end-to-end, collaborating with commercial, manufacturing, supply chain, and engineering teams.
Utilize machine learning, data science, and AI techniques to deliver impactful business insights.
Identify business needs, conduct SWOT analysis, and propose analytical approaches.
Develop high-performance algorithms, prototypes, and predictive models using Python or R. Leverage SQL and other database query languages for data analysis and insights generation.
Create and deliver clear, impactful presentations to stakeholders, summarizing complex analytical findings.
Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and privacy requirements regarding data assets.
Design reusable, well-abstracted code and navigate Linux environments effectively.
Skills: Proficient in statistical software and coding languages (e.g., R, MATLAB, Python) and database tools (e.g., SQL).
Skilled in data architecture, algorithms, and data structures.
Experience developing solutions to technical problems and selecting appropriate tools.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Requirements Education Doctorate degree OR Master's degree in Science or Engineering with 3+ years of experience in data science, statistics, applied mathematics, or related fields.
OR Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering with 5+ years of experience in data science, statistics, applied mathematics, or related fields.
Preferred Qualifications Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Applied Physics, Statistics, or Operations Research.
Expertise in programming languages such as Python, R, or SAS, and familiarity with ML libraries (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
Experience with relational, SQL, and graph databases.
Strong understanding of distributed computing tools (e.g., Spark, Hive).
Experience working in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
Fluency in Spanish and English.
Shift: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
