The Role
Emergent is seeking a Sr. Director, Brand Partnerships with a passion for social media and digital content. Our ideal candidate is passionate and knowledgeable about digital media, social platforms, content creation with established relationships with clients and agencies across verticals. As part of a growing team, you will play an instrumental role in driving revenue for a dynamic startup. Responsibilities
Create and pitch proposals including custom brand content, digital media, and influencer campaigns leveraging our social platforms Own the full sales cycle: prospect, pitch, close, and renew accounts Develop, maintain and grow strong relationships with client and agency partners and continually educate yourself on your clients business challenges Serve as a subject matter expert on marketplace trends, technologies, and developments Secure client meetings, present to prospects, and submit proposals own the sales cycle from lead generation to close. Develop a strategic approach to building the roster of our new accounts and devise effective sales strategies to identify larger opportunities and make recommendations to drive increased account activity. Strive to have strong relationships where you have intelligence about your client goals and objectives 'before the RFP' Sell a variety of solutions to clients including custom content, editorial sponsorships mobile executions, programmatic, and demonstrate a curiosity for new and evolving products Forecast, track and report revenue contribution and performance with our internal tools Contribute to the strategic mission of the sales team by raising ideas, questions and concerns as we work to continually elevate our work in the marketplace Meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals
This is a full-time role with a hybrid schedule, WFH / In-office twice a week in El Segundo, CA.
Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000
Requirements
A minimum of 5 years of digital media sales experience, with a demonstrated track record of success Relationships within various verticals including Travel, Retail, CPG, Finance and Automotive with active client relationships. Confidence in prospecting new clients, generating leads, and closing complex and creative six and seven figure deals. Proven success masterfully negotiating, closing, and executing complex, customized marketing/advertising solutions in content marketing, custom branded content, and digital/social media. Working collaboratively with sales support You have a positive attitude, enthusiasm, high energy, and a passion for excellence Results-driven orientation, superior client management skills, excellent follow-up and follow-through Independent self-starter who comes equipped with strong contacts at key digital agencies and clients and can get up and running quickly High degree of integrity and business ethics Based in Los Angeles and willing to travel as needed College degree required
