The Director of Market Access will elevate market access to a strategic level in the organization, ensuring patient access to therapies. This leader will drive execution of Market Access strategies and activities which differentiate and demonstrate the patient-centered value to payers, physicians and patients.
Responsibilities: Hire, lead, coach and develop the National and Regional Account team members focusing on Commercial and Managed Care Payers, Trade Accounts, IDNs and Group Purchasing Organizations.Work with cross-functional partners to support and direct the team Manage GPO relationships and contract negotiationsRequirements: BS/BA Degree required; advanced degree preferred10+ Years of experience in Commercial Biotech or PharmaceuticalsMarket Access expertise with an emphasis on market access strategy and pricing required Experience across a range of therapeutics areas, markets and channels, Cardiology Experience PreferredExperience leading a team of senior direct reportsExtensive knowledge of payer and health systems, specifically with large academic health systems, IDNs and GPOs Ability to travel ~ 50%, including internationalAt Syneos Health, we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace.
