About the position: TheSr. Director, Partners & Alliances role will report directly tothe VP, Partners & Alliances, and will have the responsibility for driving the regional strategy, cross-functional alignment around strategy and vision, and execution of programs to grow the partner ecosystem.
What you can expect to do: Develop and define the partner strategy that aligns with the Revenue Go To Market Strategy (GTM) Manage a Partner team who directly impact the growth of G-P's business by driving and managing influential and channel partner relationships Oversee key partnerships with a strong focus on commercial growth (both revenue and costs), external relationship management and internal stakeholder alignment Cultivate strong relationships within and outside of the organization to identify, initiate and lead partnership and growth strategy initiatives Work cross-functionally to improve existing business operations, ensure seamless execution of new initiatives, and develop go-to-market strategies and execution plans needed to drive rapid revenue growth Act as a senior resource to the global partnerships leadership team Share the vision and status of strategic initiatives to senior executives and their teams at all levels of the organization Responsible for team's ability to meet and exceed lead and opportunity generating goals, revenue goals, driving accountability, reporting, management and internal processes Work with team to define short-term and long- term channel strategies Build and execute on detailed operational plans with partners and hold internal and external teams accountable for pipeline targets and revenue attainment related to partnerships Conduct reporting and analysis on Strategic Partner channel to identify weaknesses and opportunities, delivering practical, analytical solutions to channel development Negotiate new prospective partnership arrangements, evaluate contract terms, and include relevant stakeholders in structuring corporate relationships - this entails working cross functionally with the legal team to balance the needs of business vs. wants of partner to drive negotiation and ultimate completion of complex partnerships Create and maintain relationships among business partners to develop strategies to increase revenue for their companies while building the brand through marketing and events Manage, train and equip the partnerships team on new tactics, trends and strategic initiatives Diligently generate and approach new partnership opportunities and re-engage previous partners Evaluate partner program trends and provide analysis and recommendations to leadership Work toward joint goals, strategies and objectives to build awareness and support of overall benefits of the channel partnerships program with other internal leaders Short and long-term forecasting and budgeting associated with the partnerships program Monitor competitor activity and proactively implement strategies to maintain account ownership What we are looking for: Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent preferred 15+ years of experience in a combination of direct and indirect sales for large-scale HCM/SaaS technology businesses 8+ years running strategic partnerships team Specific experience managing and scaling relationships within influential partnerships and channel sales required Must have demonstrated success of initiating, launching and scaling partner programs Strong attention to detail; must demonstrate a high sense of urgency and ability to thrive in a fast-paced business environment Ability to listen, establish relationships, gain consensus, rapidly establish credibility with and gain confidence of multiple areas across the partner channel The annual gross base salary range for this position is $128,000-$160,000 plus an annual bonus opportunity.
