Sr. Manufacturing Technology Specialist
The Sr. Manufacturing Technology Specialist learns the design and delivery of a wide variety of technical and team initiatives to address skills and development for employees within Niagara.
Essential Functions
Training Delivery
Deliver training to participantsConduct pre/post training assessments
Instructional Design
Manage the development of instructor-led courses and ongoing support materialsEnsure training materials are in line with overall training strategy and approachWorks with the Content Coordinator to create assigned end user training documentation and ongoing support material, according to defined standardsManage the Manufacturing Technology Specialist Trainee training development resourcesTransfer knowledge to the Manufacturing Technology Specialist Trainee for inclusion in training documentationCoach and counsel the Manufacturing Technology Specialist Trainee in the development of course materialsCoordinate and facilitate train-the-trainee workshops during new Manufacturing Technology Specialist Trainee onboardingConduct internal reviews of course materials with the Manufacturing Technology Specialist TraineeProvides a final technical review of all eLearning coursewareCommunicate effectively with training stakeholders for any requirementsSupports periodic training needs assessment to ensure training needs are being metCollaborate with other Technical Services groups to write, or work with vendors to develop, written and demonstration-based Skills Assessments to determine baseline knowledge of all Niagara Mfg Technical personnelTeach equipment-specific root-cause troubleshooting methodsLead in the curriculum design for training programs, activities including instructor led, online, and alternative.
