Position Details:
KeepStock is a Grainger managed inventory solution that helps customers manage their on-hand inventory, reduce time and labor costs, and save valuable space. As a Senior Planning Analyst on the KeepStock team, you will provide functional expertise and guidance for daily execution of select system functionality of the inventory planning system. You will create new processes/automate existing processes/policies for Demand Management, Forecasting, EOQ/Safety Stock Planning. You will also administer current stocking policies, ensure the accurate delivery of inventory plan updates, support continuous improvement goals, and ensure documentation of systems procedures. You will report to the Sr Manager, Inventory Management and Optimization.
You Will: Aide in developing supply chain strategies to meet customer service initiatives and meet inventory performance targets for KeepStock customers. Participate/lead discussions with representatives to adapt the planning system to accommodate business unit needs. Develop forecast modeling based on historical data and causal factors to make recommendations for inventory strategies. Automate existing forecasting/demand planning processes. Identify and recommend enhancements to supply chain systems. Work with Supply Chain partners to gain agreement on policies and system functionality to execute those policies. Perform system maintenance and maintain master data within planning areas and processes Analyze planning data and prepare repots for leadership review and communicate performance to stakeholders Meet with Grainger Technology Group and stakeholders to communicate requirements, aide in determining system options, and continuous process improvements. You Have: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Statistics or related field 5 + years' experience in related field Proficiency in reporting tools and interfaces (e.g. SQL, Snowflake, PowerBI) Rewards and Benefits:
