Sr. Software Engineer - Frontend

What you'll do Docusign is looking for a Senior engineer to help architect, build and enhance capabilities on the Agreement Orchestration Team. The team's charter is to revolutionize our current UX, while keeping up with the ever-growing Docusign user-base. You will be working in a focused scrum team obsessed with creating elegant, yet simple user-interaction for complex workflows that will delight our customers. This person is able to seamlessly integrate into agile teams and work closely with all facets of the organization (products, back-end development, UX, and Design) to achieve high quality results.
This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Engineering Manager.
Responsibility Architect and design components for the Send Experiences teamDrive strategic code sharing and architecture for one or more functional areasBe responsible for sharing and adoption of best practices for performance and availability for one or more functional areasEnsure design and architecture is extensible across multiple projects and conduct technical-design reviewsContribute to and drive a culture of building scalable and highly available systemsWork with Project Management and other developers to understand design requirements and provide estimates for developmentWork as part of a passionate, agile development team to deliver engaging web user experiencesCollaborate with our platform engineering teams to implement new features and to bring existing platform features into web platformDemonstrate strong focus on instrumenting features being developed to gain insights into usage pattern and feature successWrite test plans, test cases for the features, own the quality of feature and devise efficient, scalable testing processesWrite unit test, integration and end to end automated tests which are stable and reliableWork cooperatively with product management and design to create features that satisfy user needs with simplicity, consistency, and robustnessParticipate in live site reviews and help implement new features or processes to improve site reliabilityIdentify, propose, and implement process improvements to continuously increase the team's productivity and efficiencyStay current with the latest development best practices and share your findings with the teamWork as part of a cross-site development team to drive design, implementation, testing and release of products Job Designation Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. What you bring Basic BS degree in Computer Science or relevant field of study8+ years of product development experience building large-scale enterprise applications5+ years of experience developing JavaScript web applicationsProfessional experience with client-side frameworks, such as React (React, Typescript,Redux, Angular, or similar modern JS frameworks accepted)Hands-on, professional experience with consuming and building RESTful web-servicesExperience working in an agile development environmentExperience with git, continuous integration and deployment toolsPreferred Experience designing and developing highly scalable web applicationsExperience with full stack development, in one or more of OO programming languages like C# or JavaExperience working with cross-browser behaviors and quirksExperience with Node.jsPassion for UI; Good sense of usability and designExperience with experimentation and A/B testing platformsAgile and Test-driven development methodologiesExcellent verbal and written communication skills; strong attention to detailNatural aptitude for both teaching and learning from others in a collaborative team environmentExperience working with remote teams Wage Transparency Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:
California: $151,800.00 - $245,150.00 base salary
Illinois and Colorado: $145,800.00 - $205,950.00 base salary
Washington and New York (including NYC metro area): $145,800.00 - $214,350.00 base salary
Washington DC: $151,800.00 - $214,350.00 base salary
