Job Description TechStyleOS is looking for a Senior Network Administrator. How Do You Fit In?
As the Sr Network Administrator, you would be responsible for the design, implementation and support of the organization's network infrastructure. The desired candidate would serve as a technical expert in Cisco, Arista along with a variety of other network technologies, while able to excel in a fast-paced & multi-tasking environment. Daily operations may include large scale project design/deployment, infrastructure related break/fix issues, network documentation, network monitoring and resource forecasting. The ideal candidate would need to possess a high skill level in the areas of autonomous problem solving, communication, teamwork and attention to detail.
This position will report to the Director, IT Ops. What you will be doing: Respond to tickets from other teams for infrastructure requests, and work with vendor support to resolve issues. Network monitoring all systems and responding to critical network/system outages. Network administration & support of global: networks, data centers & store locations Analyze network infrastructure and gather technical requirements for the purpose of leading the Network deployments & migrations Participate in quarterly network updates and IT maintenances. Write and execute test plans for purpose of validating newly deployed network devices, once the deployment is complete to ensure new infrastructures can carry production network traffic Work independently to resolve issues or collectively as a team to address critical outages. Assess functional needs to determine specifications for purchases. Assist in maintaining the systems policies and procedures manual. What you can bring: 7 + years of experience in network administration (Arista, Cisco & Nexus) 7+ years of experience in ecommerce, distribution or other 24/7/365 production environments 5+ years of experience with Firewalls (Palo Alto's & Fortinet's preferred) 5+ years of experience in Load Balancers (F5's preferred) 3+ years of experience with Cloudflare: DNS, WAF, Content Delivery Networks. Must be able to multi-task and work well under pressure while meeting project deadlines Preferred Skills: Network Optimization: Extensive experience in network performance tuning and optimization, including the ability to analyze network traffic patterns, identify bottlenecks, misconfigurations and implement solutions to enhance network efficiency and reliability Security Expertise: Strong understanding of network security principles and practices, including firewalls, VPNs, pen-testing and intrusion detection/prevention systems. Project Management: Proven ability to lead and manage complex networking projects from inception to completion using project management methodologies such as Agile Cloud Networking: Experience with cloud networking services and platforms, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. The annual base salary range for this position is from $126,000 to $140,000. Offers to candidates are expected to fall within this range and will depend on the scope and complexity of the role, work experience, subject matter expertise, work location and other relevant factors.
