Staff Accountant

Our client, a not-for-profit located in Alhambra Ca., is seeking a Staff Accountant on a temporary to hire basis. The Staff Accountant will report directly to the Controller and will support with analyzing and preparing financial reports.

Hourly Pay Range: $28.00-$32.00 per hour.

Job Duties:

Gather and analyze financial information to prepare journal entries

Conduct general ledger analysis and perform adjustments and reclassifications when needed

Assist with preparing subsidiary schedules to ensure accuracy of the general ledger

Assist with monthly bank account reconciliations

Prepare financial reports, analyze and summarize data

Prepare for audits and respond to auditor requests as needed

Support accounts payable as needed

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum of three year of accounting experience

Non profit or healthcare industry experience preferred

A bachelors degree in accounting or Finance preferred

Pay Details: $28.00 to $32.00 per hour
