Description
Assists in the Program Manager in the implementation, coordination, and continuing operations of the facility. JOB ID#0926A and ID#0902A DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervises clerical and volunteer staff:
Coordinates and facilitates client financial screening interviews, including written documentation.
Responsible for the administrative portions of all staff and volunteer orientations and coordinates this training with the Program Manager.
Monitors organization and flow of all client records, and reports problems to both the Program Manager and Clinical Supervisors.
Orders all office supplies.
Arranges for the upkeep of the physical plant (e.g., notifying the Program Manager of any problems and arranging for plumbing maintenance, etc.) in conjunction with the Manager of Center wide Services.
Monitors staff, volunteers, and interns with regard to compliance with the Centerwide policies regarding administrative issues, and reports problem areas to Program Manager.
Functions as Administrative Coordinator and attends Centerwide required meetings.
Schedules and coordinates appointments for medication appointments with facility psychiatrists.
Acts as backup to Centralized Intake Counselor when he/she is absent or occupied with other callers or with an intake.
Acts as backup receptionist when receptionist is absent or on lunch break.
Coordinates and facilitates typing requests including medical correspondence.
Organizes and maintains program library.
Maintains and updates complete inventory of office furniture.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate must have three year's clerical experience, two year of which must be in highly specialized or supervisory capacity, preferably in a mental health setting. Able to type 50-55 words per minute, two-year college preferred.
Possess valid Class C California Driver's License and driving record meets SFVMHC, Inc. insurance requirements.
