Delivers care and services aligned with AltaMed's Team-Based Care Model focused on population health, evidence based medicine, appropriate resource use, and integrated delivery of care. Leverages AltaMed's Team Based Care Model to ensure all members of the clinic team are practicing at highest scope of practice. Participates as active, engaged member of AltaMed Provider group, including sharing responsibilities in the care of patients, cross-coverage, peer review, provider meetings, CME, and advancing AltaMed as a provider-led organization. Responsible for a clinic panel (empaneled against the clinic) including health outcomes, patient experience and overall patient care (both internal and external). Reports to the Site Medical Director with strong collaboration and oversight by the head of Women's Health and Regional Medical Director.Minimum Requirements1. Requirements include experience and training as a physician, having successfully completed a US accredited medical school degree and a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology or its equivalent. 2. Physician with an active unrestrictive CA license to practice medicine by the Medical Board of California.3. Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology or Board Eligible Physician Obstetrics/Gynecology.4. Previous experience with computer-based systems required; Electronic Medical records experience preferred.5.
