Servicing: Private School Students to Provide Service Plan Services

STIPEND POSITION OVERVIEW: The position involves providing 8-9 hours per week of support to parentally-placed private school students as per a Student Services Plan in Math, Reading, and/or Executive Functioning.In-person, small group special education support services will be provided at a specific school with progress monitored.The position is supervised by the Boston Public Schools, Assistant Director of Compliance, in compliance with IDEA Special Education Fund Code 240 Equitable Service regulations. REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor degree in Special Education or relevant field.Valid certification as a Special Education Teacher.Experience in providing support to students with diverse learning needs.Strong understanding of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Student Services Plans.Familiarity with IDEA Special Education Fund Code 240 Equitable Service regulations. TERMS: This stipend will be paid at the hourly rate of $56.81/hourly once the responsibilities are completed.OSS is only compensating tutoring services duties and administrative tasks performed during scheduled tutoring schedule only.All tasks must be completed outside of the regular workday.
