General:
Experienced professional in subsea development and demonstrable skills in the design and contract management for subsea production systems with a specialization in subsea trees systems. Experience in the design, technical specifications, fabrication (or supervision thereof), testing, installation and operation of subsea trees for deepwater developments and supervision thereof to ensure that regulations are duly met and verified. Detailed experience of the subsea production system/ subsea tree system interfaces with the topside control system, chemical injection, spools/ manifold and with the drilling & completion. Solid base of knowledge in the preparation of technical and procurement specifications for all equipment and materials required for the subsea trees for a deepwater production project Firm background subsea tree procurement, fabrication, installation and commissioning activities. Work independently and being able to work, interface and interact with internal disciplines and departments. Able to oversee, check and assess work performed by external suppliers. As a member of the technical team take ownership and assume accountability for the full delivery of the subsea production system and subsea trees and all its components through the engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation and commissioning phase with a keen eye on operation requirements. Operate in a multidisciplinary team where the successful candidate shall assure proactive engagement with internal disciplines, internal departments and take an assertive approach in assuring that all relevant requirements are identified and aligned. Proactively address and resolve interfaces with other elements of the hardware provided as part of the project. Functions:
SPS/ subsea tree management with a strong focus on cost, schedule and quality. This shall involve management reporting, preparation of budgets and schedules. Preparation of project documentation, such as: technical specifications, procurement specifications, the preparation and performance of technical evaluations, engineering scopes of work, procurement scopes of work, etc. Management of externally performed engineering activities of which supervision, review, evaluation and approval of externally performed engineering activities. Preparation of technical evaluation matrices and the performance of technical evaluation. Internal and external interface management. Compliance with local and international regulation and design codes as well as Company standards. Deliver the SPS/ subsea tree work packages as such that the health, safety and environmental standards are met, and achieve a HSE performance above expectation. Requirements:
Degree - Master of Science in Subsea, Electrical/ Control Engineering, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related engineering discipline. Special Knowledge required - Demonstrable knowledge in the engineering, specification, procurement, fabrication, installation and commissioning of SPS/ subsea for deepwater projects and umbilical systems. Professional experience - Minimum 15 years of experience from the petroleum industry. A minimum of 10 years shall be dedicated to subsea control systems for deepwater projects. Software skills - Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, etc.) Additional Requirements - Good communication skills with the ability to interact and develop good working relationships across the organization. Systematically analyze & approach issues, with the ability to prioritize and solve problems in order to deliver results in a timely and accurate manner.
