TYPICALLY REPORTS TO: Department Manager
STATUS: Full Time Hourly PRINCIPAL FUNCTION:
Provide customer service. Provide operational direction to the FOH team; oversee all facets of restaurant operations and implementation of Company policies.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Verify staffing for each shift.
•Verify reservations and events for the shift.
•Work with bar lead and management to supervise the floor.
•Ensure each staff member in the assigned area complies with all Company policies and procedures, safety, sanitation and alcoholic beverage laws.
•Ensure guest service, proper inventory control, cash control, food production, set up, clean up and compliance of all Company rules and policies.
•Ability to observe customers for determining whether service of alcohol is appropriate in light of local ABC laws.
•Ability to interact with guests in order to assure customer satisfaction.
•Ability to interact with co-workers in order to assure compliance with Company Service Standards and Company inventory and cash control procedures.
•Ability to perform arithmetic operations involving all United States monetary units (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
•Ability to reach, bend, stoop, wipe, push and pull.
•Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks within production and service time frames established by the Company.
•Must meet state and local health requirements for food handlers and alcoholic beverage servers.
•Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds, up and down stairs.
•Do whatever needs to be done to assist management with smooth, efficient operation.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS: Required:
•High school diploma.
•1 year supervisory experience preferred.
•Ability to perform arithmetic operations (add, subtract, multiply, divide) involving all United States monetary units (or Canadian, if applicable).
•Ability to understand written and oral direction and to communicate the same with others.
•Knowledge and/or experience with come cash handling.
