What Production Operation contributes to Cardinal Health
Operates light-duty bench- or floor-type machine tools and automation equipment. May set up machining machines and make adjustments, and perform maintenance on machines. Checks work using prescribed gauges, jigs and fixtures to measure close tolerances. Some machines may be numerically controlled. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

esponsibilities:
Works in compliance with all regulatory standards including EHS, QRA, Manufacturing and internal policies and interpretations
Manages the staff to ensure manufacturing operations (1st and 2nd shifts)
Conducts performance reviews
Creates employee schedules around manufacturing production hours and needs
Monitors and verifies quality in accordance with SOPs
Performs general maintenance
Work in partnership with cross functional teams to ensure product/production expectations and demands are met
Adheres to a large volume of SOPs, with the ability to adapt to process improvements
Utilizes technology to support manufacturing processes
Qualifications
Bachelors in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
3+ years experience in related field, preferred
Experience in Manufacturing Environment is highly preferred
Demonstrated success in managing people and leading a team, two or more years of experience is preferred
Strong communication skills
Bilingual English and Spanish (Oral and Written) is required
Intermediate to Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Office is required
Ability to rotate shifts and/or schedules as business need requires. This will include weekends and holidays
Experience working in compliance with all regulatory standards
