Position Summary
The SVP, Senior Treasury Manager oversees Redwood Trust's Treasury team, ensuring cash and capital adequacy and the seamless flow of all transaction settlements. This role is a senior position within the Company collaborating directly with the business groups and supporting the Treasurer. The position also involves close cooperation with third-party counterparties, including investment banks, warehouse lenders, custodians, and loan servicers.

Responsibilities & Duties Oversee the daily responsibilities of direct reports and provide backup support during high treasury activity periods. Manage daily treasury cash needs and allocations across all subsidiary accounts. Oversee cash management and financing activities for non-agency conduit and business purpose lending platforms. Manage daily cash reconciliations of wires, internal account transfers, and bank-to-bank transfers for all corporate transactions. Oversee the management of the Company's credit facilities, ensuring sufficient liquidity and optimizing balance sheet leverage. Partner with residential conduit and business purpose lending groups to solicit, negotiate, and implement new financing facilities. Manage daily derivative and financing cash margining requirements. Implement and monitor adherence to corporate policies. Ensure compliance with all external counterparty financial covenants and collateral eligibility requirements. Monitor regulatory changes and implement revised policies as necessary. Maintain ISDA and MRA operative documents with existing and new registered dealers. Oversee quarterly and annual internal audit testing and address any findings. Required Education, Experience, & Skills Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting. 15+ years of experience in corporate treasury or accounting. Working knowledge of fixed income, mortgage-backed securities, and residential loans. Experience with business purpose lending warehouse financing and security REPO. Involvement with financial derivative trading and settlements. Strong ability to build and maintain relationships both externally and internally. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Strong quantitative, analytical, and organizational skills. Proven negotiation skills. Ability to work under pressure and multi-task with precision. Strong attention to detail. Ability to set individual goals, work in an unstructured/open trading desk environment, and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this role is $180k - 250K annually. The actual salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, geographic location, training, licensure and certification, and other factors.
