Overview
The
Talent Acquisition Specialist
will be responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and onboarding qualified candidates across various educational roles. This role will focus on identifying professionals who align with our values and goals, ensuring we attract the best talent to meet our growing needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the education industry and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities
:
Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts, from sourcing to onboarding, for roles across the organization, including educators, administrators, and support staff.
Partner with department heads and HR to understand staffing needs and create tailored recruitment strategies.
Proactively source candidates through various platforms, including job boards, social media, and networking events.
Conduct interviews, assessments, and background checks to ensure a strong cultural and professional fit.
Develop and maintain a talent pipeline to meet the future hiring needs of the organization.
Assist in refining the onboarding process to enhance new hires' integration and long-term success.
Manage applicant tracking systems (ATS) and maintain accurate candidate records.
Represent the organization at career fairs and industry events to build brand awareness and network with potential candidates.
Qualifications
:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
2+ years of experience in recruiting, preferably within the education industry or nonprofit sector.
Strong knowledge of recruitment strategies and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
Proven ability to build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners.
Knowledge of local labor laws and employment regulations in Puerto Rico.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple positions simultaneously.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
