Your role at Clorox:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Tax Analyst to join our dynamic team in Puerto Rico. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring timely compliance with all fiscal obligations of the company, including the preparation, calculation, and submission of monthly and annual payments such as income tax, IVU, and national and foreign withholdings as mandated by law. You will play a crucial role in supporting business decision-making from a tax perspective and identifying tax opportunities to achieve savings within legal frameworks, thereby minimizing risks of fiscal contingencies.
In this role, you will:
Ensure compliance with municipal, national, and international tax laws to avoid unnecessary fiscal obligations.
Conduct tax research and contribute to various projects as assigned.
Prepare internal reports for corporate use, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Conduct company tax calculations both monthly and annually, including annual supplier informational declarations. Prepare corporate reports and accounting entries for taxes.
What we look for:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Experience: Minimum of 3-4 years accounting/taxes in Puerto Rico
Skills:
Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (written and conversational).
Strong technical skills and the ability to navigate state and local tax laws.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Suri, and Crim.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience in the use of SAP is plus.
