About the Role The Company is seeking a Tax Director to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising, training, and mentoring Tax Managers and Associates, as well as leading the department in identifying and implementing tax planning and consulting opportunities. The Tax Director will also be involved in managing client engagements, conducting complex tax research, and communicating with clients and tax authorities. Experience in gift, estate, and trust returns, as well as partnership tax, is a plus.

Applicants for the Tax Director position at the company should possess a minimum of 15 years' of relevant experience and have a strong background in tax accounting, with a focus on individual and entity tax. The role demands an individual with excellent technical and strategic expertise in the tax arena, including experience in tax research and the preparation and review of various tax returns. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, outgoing team player with a desire to mentor and develop staff. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification is required, and experience with RIA and a background in partnership tax is highly beneficial.
