A growing tax accounting firm is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will lead a team of tax professionals, oversee tax return processes, and ensure the delivery of high-quality tax services to clients. This role requires a strong leader with a CPA certification and extensive experience in a tax CPA firm.

Responsibilities Include: Team Management: Supervise and mentor a team of two tax professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations. Lead the team in delivering high-quality tax services. Client Interaction: Serve as the primary contact for clients, addressing tax-related inquiries, providing expert advice, and maintaining strong client relationships. Tax Return Review: Oversee and review all tax returns and related documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations. Leadership: Drive team performance, set priorities, and ensure efficient task completion. Implement best practices and process improvements within the tax department. Ideal Qualifications: Certification: CPA certification required. Experience: 5 - 10 years of experience in a tax CPA firm required. Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills. Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Technical Skills: Proficient in tax software and financial applications. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
