Evergreen, Insight Globals Manage Service Division partners with a large local utility companys Applied Technology Services (ATS) division in their search for an Engineering Technician. ATS is responsible for engineering, testing, and analysis services and expertise across multiple disciplines to various company organizations to identify, diagnose, and solve technical problems. Services include inspections, failure analysis, performance assessments, and evaluations on a wide variety of systems and components ranging from in-service concrete to hydroelectric turbine blades to distributed generation. As the Engineering Technician your responsibilities will include but arent limited to:
- Assist with pre and post calibration efforts for lab projects. Can assist with field calibrations.
- Ability to learn and utilize Labview program functions
- Assist experienced engineer techs with flowmeter calibration
- Assist with job setup task, build JSSA, prepare Field Work Notifications (FWN)
- Preparing calibration data file templates, daily prep of psychrometers for lab projects
- Trained to work with low voltage AC, high pressure systems (air, hydraulic, etc.) and natural gas at residential pressure
- Assist with other duties assigned under direction or supervision of senior/experienced engineer techs
