Job Description What you will be doing:
Reporting to the Director of Transient Sales, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Utilize Power Point, Word, Excel and Outlook on a day to day basis Resolve client issues an engaging way. Provide warm and engaging service in a fast pace and challenging work environment. Assist with the maintenance of accounts, contact, activity and business details within appropriate software applications Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service Ensure prompt and courteous service is extended to both internal and external customers Manage all incoming telephone enquiries effectively, ensuring all guest requests are addressed efficiently Provide administrative assistance to all members of the Sales and team Maintain a positive relationship with all guests, vendors, colleagues and global sales network Ensure all Sales promotional literature is current and updated Update and ensure accuracy with all mailing lists Prepare and disseminate month-end reports as required Follow departmental policies and procedures Follow all safety policies Other duties as assigned Your experience and skills include: Previous experience within luxury market, in similar or related role, preferred. Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications and relevant computer applications required (Micros Opera S&C, and Meeting Matrix preferred). University/College degree in a related discipline preferred. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required. Strong leadership, excellent interpersonal skills, and problem solving abilities. Highly responsible, reliable and ethical. A reputation for honesty and integrity. Ability to multi-task and take direction from multiple sources; while still prioritizing and maintaining control over workload. Team player who is results oriented and highly motivated self-starter. Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times. Ability to work days, nights and weekend; when necessary. Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to): Frequent standing and walking throughout shift Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps Visa Requirements:
