Threshold Singers is an all-women movement for those who wish to sharethe gift of voice with others. These volunteers participate in regulartrainings as part of a national Threshold Choir organization and thentravel in groups of 2-4 to patient bedsides to offer songs of support.
Helping to care for our patients and families is a critical role playedby our volunteers. These positions are some of the most challenging andrewarding volunteer opportunities at Rainbow Hospice and PalliativeCare. Volunteers in Patient Care and Family Support provide in-homeservices to patients currently being served by Rainbow Hospice.
Because of the direct patient and family interaction, all of thesepositions require Patient Care and Family Support volunteers to gothrough specialized Patient Care Training.
