We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team in the ornamental plant nursery. This position involves a variety of tasks related to the cultivation, maintenance, and care of ornamental plants. Responsibilities
Cultivate and maintain ornamental plants, ensuring optimal growth conditions.
Operate and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants.
Utilize hand tools and heavy equipment for planting, pruning, and harvesting tasks.
Perform basic math calculations for measuring soil amendments and fertilizers.
Monitor plant health and identify any issues related to pests or diseases.
Skills
Proficiency with basic math for measuring and calculating needs for plant care.
Experience with hand tools used in gardening and landscaping tasks.
Knowledge of equipment repair techniques to maintain nursery machinery.
Ability to irrigate effectively, understanding water needs for various plant species.
