Certification Details BLS required Residency Declaration Form required if using a compact license from any state other than Ohio. ACLS and PALS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support - check unit/cost center link for specific requirements. National certification for Surgical Technologists not required but preferred. State License 1 Verification within 30 days of start. Job Details 1 year of experience in Level I Trauma facility and 1 full year in CVOR required. Must have experience with Cardiovascular/Thoracic instrument/tray reprocessing. MUST HAVE 1 year of experience in Level I Trauma facility and 1 full year in CVOR Job Requirements 1 year of experience in Level I Trauma facility and 1 full year in CVOR required. Experience with cardiovascular/thoracic procedures Professional knowledge of aseptic technique and computerized charting with EPIC Schedule Information Shift: 5-8hr shifts, 2230-0700am, but can work with 2-8hr 2230pm-0700am and 2-12hr 1830pm-0700am shifts. Call will be involved. Unit Specific Information Special Procedures/Unit Details: MUST HAVE 1 year of experience in Level I Trauma facility and 1 full year in CVOR Skills such as general OR, thoracic, vascular, various cardiac surgical procedures, and laparoscopic cardiac surgery are essential. Additional Details Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics. Additional skills required: Experience with crash cart, scrub, and circulate as well as equipment documentation.
