Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel - CT Tech Shift: Nights, 7p-7a, 12x3, 36hrs per week, Sat/Sun/Mon

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements: Minimum 2 years' experienceRequired experience in: abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, brain perfusion, CTAs, multiplanar reconstructionBLSAARTAART advanced certificatePreferred experience in: aspirations/biopsies, colography, CT arthrography, drainage, myelography, transplant studies, PET/CT Other: Will accept 1st time traveler Scanner equipment: GE, Siemens COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Not Required Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required - Medical Exemptions Only
Saturday, Sunday and Monday 7p-7a.
Min. 2 years experience, will accept 1st time traveler
Required Certs: BLS, AART, AART advanced cert
Performs cat scan procedures using prescribed techniques. Reviews requisitions to ensure completeness verifying patient name, diagnosis, description of requested exam, etc.; adjusts equipment and selects appropriate technical factors to produce proper radiographic exposure; utilizes standard positioning techniques to obtain an optimal diagnostic image. Selects appropriate protocol for each CT scan procedure; ensures proper levels of density and contrast are utilized to obtain and optimal quality image. Performs scanning procedures of various organs to localize site of pathological process. Complete examination in a timely manner, orders IV and oral contrast in powerchart. Documents administration of contrast and scans paperwork into Cerner. Perform exam completion, complete screenings/consents, and paper scanning in a timely manner.
