TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Baldwin Park, California, 91706 About The Position Weekly Pay Range - $2977 To $3308 Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Emergency Room (ER) - Critical Need Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8 hours, 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Experience: 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience License: Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided) Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (or complete within 6 months of hire) OR Pediatric Advanced Life Support (within 6 months of hire) Must-Have: - ACLS certification - Proven experience in emergency room settings Job Description: - Graduate of an accredited nursing program - Provide high-quality care to patients in a critical emergency room setting - Demonstrate critical thinking skills and ability to work effectively under pressure - Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver patient care - Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop care plans - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed - Monitor and interpret vital signs and patient symptoms - Respond to emergency situations with effective triage and intervention - Maintain accurate documentation and patient records - Engage in continuous learning and professional development activities - Preferred: Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field, CEN, TNCC, and knowledge of interpreting cardiac dysrhythmias.
