Using their passion for digital innovation and their creative problem-solving and managerial skills, Consultants at L.E.K. lead our digital project teams to provide clients insights with impact. You will make a difference by driving our teams to deliver actionable advice, strategies, and digital solutions to help our clients win. Consultants at L.E.K. manage a team of Associates and/or Associate Consultants right from the start, and are on point to ensure the team is addressing client problems and delivering an answer.
Responsibilities typically include: Breaking down and outlining the client's key strategic, operational, technology, experience, and organizational issuesDirectly executing critical analysisDesigning and supervising the team's core tasks and analyses day-to-dayDeveloping presentation and other deliverable structuresEngaging with external ecosystem partners (e.g., contractors, technology vendors, development partners) to collaborate on a shared vision to achieve client successProviding guidance and support to client working teamsUnderstanding the critical issues affecting the client and communicating key insights and recommendations based upon the project team's research and analysisParticipating in the communication of project conclusions to client senior managementProviding guidance, mentorship, and feedback to more junior staffQualifications & Experience Fluency in multiple topics core to digital strategy including agile, systems architecture, experience design, process automation, cloud technologies, AI, mobile, etc.Curiosity to explore the evolving landscape of digitalExperience in a range of digital strategy topics including digital commerce, disruptive business strategies, technology design, architecture, experience design, AI, etc.Superior analytical skills combined with demonstrated expertise in consulting approachesStrong "bedside manner" with clients: able to engage at varying levels within a client's organizationStrong project management skills including work planning, presentation development, quality control, and client managementExcellent communication skills both oral and written and the ability to influence othersBright, conceptual and a quick learner, able to quickly assess a situation and generate new insights and actionable ideasWHY L.E.K.? Immediate management responsibility: Consultants have the opportunity to manage the case process and Associate team from day 1 (L.E.K. hires two undergraduates for every new Consultant).Breadth of experiences: While our projects span most industries and services, our focus is strategy and M&A. We rapidly progress responsibility to accelerate our team's development.The base salary for the Consultant position is $185,000 (USD). L.E.K. Consulting offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience as well as a performance bonus, profit sharing, and other benefits.
