Position Summary/Purpose of Position: The Urban Equity Collaborative (UEC) is hiring a Social Media Coordinator GA. The UEC employs an intersectional, multidisciplinary, collaborative approach to community-based research, action, and collective inquiry that upholds equitable university-community partnerships.
Goals and Objectives:
Generate effective, strategic social media posts on LinkedIn and Instagram.
Keep track of social media data.
Increase the UEC's social media presence.
Coordinate with UEC Project Manager and Senior Leaders to remain informed about UEC events, research, and opportunities for content sharing.
Develop a quarterly newsletter detailing UEC team news, research updates, and upcoming events.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree.
Must be currently enrolled as a master's level graduate student.
Preferences:
Graphic design experience is a plus but not required.
A keen eye for detail and good written and in-person communication skills.
Interest in urban equality, community and economic development, and/or urban planning and policy.
