AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job) Develop and implement engineering designs for utility systems including water, gas, electrical, and wastewater infrastructure.
Conduct technical feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for utility projects.
Perform comprehensive system inspections and diagnostics to identify potential improvements or maintenance requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient utility operations and compliance with regulatory standards.
Manage capital improvement projects from conceptualization through implementation.
Prepare detailed technical reports, specifications, and documentation.
Utilize advanced modeling and simulation software to optimize utility system performance.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards.
